Feng Shui Bedroom Tips: #2
Where Should I Sleep?
If you have a full view of the windows and entrance to your room when lying on your bed, you're off to a great start to the correct feng shui position. Behind you should be a solid wall that symbolizes support and security for you. Never ever position your bed facing your door so your head, feet and doorway are in one straight line. This is known as the coffin position and will interfere with your sleep with it's negative energy patterns. Other things that can interfere with restful sleep are construction beams crossing above you, even mirrors, hanging mobiles or anything else that can hang over the bed. They can drain you of energy and take away those precious hours of rest we need to be healthy. If these kind of things exist in your home and can't be avoided you should look at employing some feng shui cures to counterbalance this bad energy. You can find more information on this on my website.
Feng Shui Bedroom Tips: #3
Mirror Mirror on the Wall
Mirrors have reflective qualities that when used in feng shui can help to bounce energy, either good or bad around your space either out of the door or back into the room. In your bedroom however, reflective energy from mirrors will disturb your sleep. Although not recommended, if you do have a mirror in your room, make sure that it doesn't reflect you when you're lying on your bed, resting. If you share your bed with your partner, it's important that the mirror doesn't reflect th bed, you or your partner. This symbolizes more than two people in your relationship and can promote infidelity. It's best to remove the mirrors that break these rules to encourage a healthy, positive bedroom environment.
A missing area means that there is a lack of energy flow in the region. There is an imbalance which often equates to an inability to maximize the potential of that particular area, because it is energetically "incomplete." Your goal is to reduce any negative impacts this may be causing.
- Energize the space with a faceted crystal. Hang a faceted crystal if you discover your career region or home office (do this for both, if not in the same location)…is missing an area. Even if the career or wealth areas aren't physically missing, hang a 50mm sized crystal or larger in the career or prosperity region of your office for attracting positive energy.
Dont's:
1- Place sofas directly opposite each other. This can be confrontational and you may find guests arguing without provocations.
2- Have too many pieces of furniture. They cramp the flow of Chi and create a feel of chaos and insecurity in the room.
3- Have clutter behind and under sofas and other pieces of furniture. They block the chi energy and create stagnant energies. This makes people feel tired and out of energy.
4- Have furniture with hard edges. Favor smooth rounded shapes for safety. Curved lines help prevent negative, cutting chi from being aimed at people sitting within the living room.
For example, the Wood element is associated with spring and new growth. Obtaining a crystal in the shape of a vertical rectangle (more or less…think tree!)…will attract new growth energy for your career.
Use these straightforward Feng Shui crystal cure ideas to revitalize and usher in the vibrant energy your career life needs. When you perform these cures, remember to visualize yourself making positive career strides. A clear intention and focus on your positive outcome is essential!
